Português: A cachoeira de Santa Bárbara, uma das mais visitadas da Chapada dos Veadeiros, localiza-se dentro da área de preservação Quilombo Kalunga em Cavalcante (GO). O que mais impressiona e a tornou tão conhecida não é sua altura, uma vez que possui apenas 30 metros, e sim a incrível tonalidade turquesa de seu poço. Para chegar até a cachoeira é obrigatório contratar um guia autorizado, que pode ser encontrado tanto no centro de atendimento ao turista (CAT) do centro da cidade de Cavalcante como no CAT da comunidade Kalunga, onde é realizado o pagamento para entrada na trilha até a cachoeira. Recomenda-se que já vá com guia desde o centro de Cavalcante, uma vez que até a comunidade são quase 30km de uma estrada de chão de difícil dirigibilidade, sendo assim o guia pode orientar os melhores caminhos a seguir. Para chegar até a cachoeira percorre-se uma trilha de um pouco mais de 1km a qual atualmente está sendo reestruturada. |
