Cabeza olmeca etiquetada como número 1 en el museo de antropología de Xalapa, también conocida como el rey. Fué encontrada en San Lorenzo Tenochtitlán, sitio arqueológico localizado en Texistepec, Veracruz, México. Data de 1200 a 900 años a.C. y tiene 2.9m de altura por 2.1m de ancho.

El primer editor de este artículo tomó las fotografías en el Museo de Antropología de Xalapa en Xalapa, Veracruz, México el 20 de julio de 2005. Las vistas de frente y perfil estan unidas en una sola imagen de 1800 x 1200 pixels.

Olmec head or colossal head labeled as number 1 in the Xalapa's museum of Antropology. It is also known as el rey (the king) It was found in San Lorenzo Tenochtitlán (name of the archeological site, usually shortened to San Lorenzo), located at Texistepec, State of Veracruz, México. It dates from 1200 to 900 years b.C. and is 2.9 meters high and 2.1 meters wide.

The first editor of this entry took these photographs at the Museo de Antropología de Xalapa, in Xalapa, Veracruz, on july 20 2005. Front and profile views of the same sculpture are joined here at a single file of 1800 x 1200 pixels.
