Description A U.S. Navy North American CT-39E Sabreliner (BuNo 158381) assigned to Fleet Logistics Support Squadron VR-30 in flight. This aircraft crashed in the South China Sea off the Spratly Islands on 12 July 1988 on a flight from Singapore to Subic Bay, Philippines. The three crewmembers were rescued by a Vietnamese fishing boat.
