Description
English: The immunohistochemistry laboratory is within the centre suite in the microbiologically secure section of CSIRO's Australian Animal Health Laboratory (AAHL). Histopathology allows the association of infectious agents with the pathology (changes to normal structure) of the tissue and organs. Samples are examined using a light microscope. Here samples of diseased tissue are sliced thinly before placing onto glass slides for viewing under the light microscope.
