Parcial da sala de comissões do Senado Federal durante audiência pública realizada pela Comissão de Agricultura e Reforma Agrária (CRA).

A CRA avalia as linhas de créditos disponíveis para agricultura, as principais proposições e alterações referentes ao Plano Safra 2013-2014, bem como possíveis mudanças no enquadramento do Programa Nacional de Fortalecimento da Agricultura Familiar (Pronaf) e simplificação da Declaração de Aptidão ao Pronaf (DAP).

Na ocasião, senadores saúdam a iniciativa do governo federal de incluir no Plano Agrícola e Pecuário 2013/2014 recursos para financiar a construção de armazéns nas propriedades rurais.

O vice-presidente de Agronegócio e Micro e Pequenas Empresas do Banco do Brasil, Osmar Dias explica que a medida visa ampliar a capacidade de estocagem de grãos no país. Deverão ser aplicados R$ 25 bilhões em crédito para a construção de armazéns privados e de cooperativas, nos próximos cinco anos, com juros 3,5% ao ano e com prazo para pagamento de até 15 anos.
