Nederlands: De armband bestaat uit 15 spiralen die om de arm, hier waarschijnlijk de onderarm, worden gewonden. Vrouwen dragen deze om alle ledematen waarbij alleen de knie- en ellebooggewrichten vrijgelaten worden. Hoe hoger (rijker) de status van de vrouw, hoe meer banden zij draagt. Het sieraad kan alleen afgedaan worden door het geheel weer af te wikkelen, dit gebeurt vaak pas na overlijden.
Er zijn twee inheemse benamingen voor dit type armband, al naar gelang de lokatie op het lichaamsdeel: - Es Segengeï ol Berangasch, wanneer de spiralen om de bovenarm gewonden zijn - Es Segengeï en Dagule, wanneer de spiralen om de onderarm gewonden zijn De inheemse naam voor ijzerdraad is: Es Segengeï |
