Nederlands: Pers. Dit houten instrument is een katoenpers die gebruikt wordt om katoen van korrels te ontdoen. Het bestaat uit twee houten rollers in een houten raamwerk (zie afbeelding in Jasper en Pirngadie 1912:12).
De katoenpers of rolpers wordt gebruikt bij het voorbereiden van katoen voor het spinnen. De twee houten cilinders draaien tegen elkaar als de weefster aan het handvat draait. Ruwe katoen wordt aan de ene kant tussen de rollers ingestoken. De katoen past ertussen maar de korrels in de katoen niet (zie beschrijving in Jasper en Pirngadie 1912:14). Kant en klare garens worden tegenwoordig op de markt gekocht en katoen wordt niet meer lokaal verbouwd noch verwerkt vóór het spinnen.
