Deutsch: Ausgemusterte Canadair CL-13B Sabre Mk.6 (F-86E) als Standmodell - mit stark verwitterter Tarnbemalung - am Haupteingang der Tauberfranken-Kaserne der Luftwaffe in Lauda-Königshofen. Foto am "Tag der offenen Tür" im Sept. 1973. Zur Begrüßung der Besucher waren an den Fahnenmasten gehisst: Die Flagge der NATO (li.), das Sternenbanner der USA (Mitte), sowie die Dienstflagge der deutschen Bundeswehr = "Schwarz-Rot-Gold" mit dem Emblem des Bundesadlers (re.). Bei der "371" handelt es sich sehr wahrscheinlich um die in Oldenburg ab 1964 ausgemusterte, und durch Fiat G.91R ersetzte Sabre Mk.6 mit dem Kennzeichen "JB-371" der 3. Staffel des JG 72 (Jagdgeschwader 72). Das JG 72 war im Jahr 1959 in Leck/Holstein mit der bei Canadair in Montreal produzierten Lizenzausführung der North American F-86E Sabre CL-13B Sabre Mk.6 ausgerüstet worden. Die neue Bundesluftwaffe übernahm ab 1957 insgesamt 75 CL-13B Sabre Mk.5, sowie weitere 225 CL-13B Sabre Mk.6 Jagdflugzeuge aus kanadischer Produktion.[1] Siehe auch "Tag der offenen Tür, 1973 - TdoT Lauda" auf https://m136.de/pzbrig-36-tage-der-offenen-tuer/ |
