Deutsch: In Rot ein silberner (weisser) Wellenbalken. Im oberen Feld eine silberne (weisse) dreitürmige Burg mit offenem Tor, der mittlere Rundturm mit einer Zinne gekrönt, die Flankentürme mit goldenen (gelben) Dächern bedeckt. Im unteren Feld eine silberne (weisse) Jakobsmuschel.

Object history
Deutsch: Im Jahre 1883 entwarf der Stanser Heraldiker Adalbert Vokinger das Beckenrieder Gemeindewappen. Die Kosten für den Entwurf übernahm der damalige Posthalter Jakob Amstad. Nicht zuletzt deshalb ziert nun die Muschel aus seinem Familienwappen den Gemeindeschild. Die Burg soll an die beiden Burgstellen in Beckenried, Isenringen und Retschrieden erinnern.
