Description
English: A Dutch soldier with a standard C7 assault rifle monitors the area during a patrol in the Afghan province of Uruzgan (2008). The soldier wears an Army (KL) desert camouflage pattern uniform. The pattern is a slight reinterpretation of the US tricolor desert pattern using different drawings with essentially the same color scheme. Introduced for general service in 1993, the uniform is not in service anymore.
