Yellow paper over boards. Robin de Beaumont has noted: ‘[Book purchased from] Bonnington(?) 5.84 £2’ The upper pastedown has lists of publisher’s titles; there is also a bookseller’s label of: “/ Morley/ Bookseller, / Forest Hill, S. E.” More publisher’s titles are printed on the lower endpaper and pastedown. The lower cover lists titles in the series: “Warne’s Useful Books.” The upper cover is printed in colours. Floral displays surround a flower stand and flower holder. From the top to the tail, the words are: “The County Library and Family Circle Books. / Old English/ Wild Flowers/ by/ J. T. Burgess/ With Illustrations/ Warne & Co. Bedford St. Covent Garden./” The spine has: “Old English Wild Flowers.” Along its length, with “One shilling” at the head. This book acquired with the generous assistance of the British Library Collections Trust.
