Description |
English: A 17th century provincial halfpenny token. The copper alloy token is bent, the edges of the fan are feathered the condition is worn and corroded. One face is better preserved in the field is HIS HALF PENY over three lines with RICHARD [...] in the inscription. The opposite face contains a central deisgn - possibly a shield - but is heavily detoriated. The inscription is mostly lost all that can be seen is [...]OR[....].
