Description

Soesterberg, 21 August 1985.

The C-23 Sherpas from Zweibrücken (West Germany) were daily visitors from 1985 until late 1990. After a few years no-one took notice any more when a 'Pokey' landed. The spotters even called them Herpes instead of Sherpas...

After serving in the USAFE 84-0464 'Zaragoza' went to the US Army and then on to a civil operator.
