Description

"Uma aeronave C-130 Hércules da Força Aérea Brasileira (FAB) vai ajudar a combater os focos de incêndio no Distrito Federal. Com capacidade para 12 mil litros de água, o avião, do Primeiro Grupo de Transporte de Tropa (1º GTT), sediado na Base Aérea dos Afonsos (RJ), deve chegar às 20 horas à Base Aérea de Brasília. A aeronave é equipada com um sistema modular de combate a incêndio aero-embarcado, ou em inglês, Modular Airborne Fire Fghting System (MAFFS). A previsão é de que a aeronave decole para a missão às 6 horas da manhã do sábado (10/9). "
