Summary

[edit]

Chicago's Chicago and North Western Terminal ca. 1912, from http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.pnp/pan.6a20127

Image is of a view looking northeast toward the corner of Madison and Clinton. The underpasses for Washington and for Randolph can be seen along the side of the structure to the north. The truss bridge just north of the structure serves the Lake Street Elevated rapid transit line. The chimney seen at the far left of the image is located at Clinton and Milwaukee and still stands today.
