English: Lead

Button. Cast plano-convex button with integral loop, made in a two part mould. A motif, now obscured by wear or damage, is enclosed by a raised border. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1700.

Diameter: 18.8mm, Thickness (clear of loop): 7.4mm, Weight: 10.75gms.
