Description
Français : Cette planche, comme la précédente, contient plusieurs porte-lanternes. Celui qui occupe le milieu diffère des autres en ce qu’il porte la lanterne au moyen de quatre branches en consoles portées sur un piédestal. Par le plan rectangulaire des deux porte-réverbères placés devant l’Hôtel des Monnaies à Paris, on peut juger de la disposition des tiges qui supportent la potence, présentée de face et de profil, qui remplit bien toutes les conditions voulues. Les deux autres, tirés de la cour du Louvre, sont fort simples et d’un très-bon style ; leur tige, fuselée avec grâce, est plantée sur une borne en granit.
