Summary
[edit]DescriptionBurstwick Drain from Thorn Road in Hedon - geograph.org.uk - 1201860.jpg |
English: Burstwick Drain from Thorn Road in Hedon, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This is the main drainage channel for the very flat area of south east Holderness. The channel and banks of the drain were substantially cleared not long after the disastrous floods of 2007 to maximise the flowrate of the waterway. Unfortunately, the vegetation is rapidly growing back again... |
