Deutsch: Die Schönburg, eine Höhenburg bei Oberwesel am Rhein. Baubeginn war in der 1. Hälfte des 12. Jahrhunderts. Die Burg wurde wie die meisten anderen Burgen im Oberen Mittelrheintal Pfälzischen Erbfolgekrieg 1689 von den Franzosen zerstört. In den Jahren 1885 bis 1901 wurde die Burg teilweise Wiederaufgebaut. Der nördliche Teil wurde 1951 bis 1953 als Jugendburg des Kolpingwerkes gebaut. Der südliche Teil wurde 1957 zum Hotel ausgebaut. |
