Description

The parapet atop the Burdick Building, which is a contributing building to the Category:Oldenburg Historic District in Oldenburg, Indiana, United States. The building’s nomination to the National Register for Historic Places states:

Above the cornice in the center rises an ornamented parapet. This parapet rests on only one-third of the cornice top. It bears the name, 'J.F. Burdick' in old German characters. The name is flanked by rosettes. Above the name are three acroteria.
