Description
Deutsch: um 1500 (Refektorium); wahrscheinlich ehemaliges Sommerrefektorium des Dominikanerklosters (auch Marienkapelle genannt) und daran anschließend der zweigeschossige ehemalige Kapitelsaal des Klosters, heute Stadtmuseum; baugeschichtlich, kunsthistorisch, künstlerisch, städtebaulich und ortsgeschichtlich von Bedeutung, ortsbildprägend nahe der Wallanlage. Das Stadtmuseum Pirna entstand aus der Vereinigung des 1861 angelegten Museums des Städtischen Gewerbevereins und der seit 1878 bestehenden musealen Sammlungen des Gebirgsvereins für die Sächsische Schweiz. Seit 1923 befinden sich die Ausstellungen des Stadtmuseums im Kapitelsaalgebäude des früheren Klosters.
