For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Dresden, Güterbahnhof ADN-ZB Häßler 26.12.1979 Dresden: Bis zu 5000 Güterwagen täglich werden hier auf dem Bahnhof Dresden-Friedrichstadt abgefertigt. Auch an den Festtagen sorgen die Eisenbahner des wichtigen Rangierbahnhofs für einen reibungslosen und zügigen Gütertransport. Auf dem größten derartigen Bahnhof der DDR wird "rund um die Uhr"" gearneitet. (vergl. dazu U1226-0008)
