For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. ADN-ZB/SNB Empfang bei Armee-General W.J. Tschuikow am 11.11.1949. Armeegeneral W.J. Tschuikow, der Chef der neugeschaffenen Sowjetischen Kontrollkommission (SKK), der die Kontrolle über die Durchführung der Bestimmungen und Prinzipien des Potsdamer Abkommens obliegt, empfängt die Mitglieder der Regierung der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik. Die SKK löst die Sowjetische Militär-Administration (SMA) ab, deren Funktionen an die deutschen Staatsorgane übergeben. |
