For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Behandlung von Holz
ADN-ZB Ludwig-10.8.1976 Bez. Erfurt: Mit Schädlingsbekämpfungsmittel behandelt hier Forstarbeiter Herbert Kohn (vorn) einen gefällten Baum. In rund 100 Kontrollbezirken des Staatlichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebes Nordhausen sind gegenwärtig die Forstarbeiter dabei, dem Borkenkäfer zu Leibe zu rücken. Vor allem geht es ihnen darum, noch 4.000 Festmeter Nadelholz aus den Wäldern abzutransportieren, die Reste der Sturmschäden vom Januar dieses Jahres sind. Diese Arbeiten sollen zügig bis Ende Sptember abgreschlossen werden, damit der Schädling möglichst wenig des wertvollen Nutzholzes vernichtet. (Siehe auch R0810-20N) |
