ADN-ZB DDR 14.8.1974 cu Weimar: Touristen-Hochsaison herrscht gegenwärtig in der Klassiker- und Kunststadt Weimar, die in ihren Mauern zahlreiche kulturhistorische Schätze und einzigartige Museen beherbergt. Hervorragende Persönlichkeiten begründeten mit ihrem Schaffen eine der bedeutsamsten Epochen Weimars: Namen wie Goethe, Schiller, Herder sind untrennbar mit der Historie der Stadt im ausgehenden 18. und beginnenden 19. Jahrhundert verbunden. Sie machten Weimar zum Zentrum des deutschen Geisteslebens.- Große Summen werden jährlich aufgewendet, um die Kulturdenkmäler und Wirkungsstätten berühmter Musiker, Künstler und Dichter in ihrer Ursprünglichkeit zu erhalten und der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich zu machen.- Unser Foto zeigt das Schiller-Haus, eines der kostbarsten Kleinode der alten Ilmstadt, die im nächsten Jahr ihre 1000-Jahr-Feier begeht. In diesem Haus lebte, dichtete und starb Friedrich Schiller (1759-1805). Hier entstanden auch seine letzten Werke.
