For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Roger Pyttel ADN-ZB Mittelstädt 14-7-73 Berlin: 24. DDR-Meisterschaften im Sportschwimmen-Der 16jährige Leipziger DHfK-Sportler Roger Pyttel ist bei den Herren der erfolgreichste Teilnehmer der diesjährigen Titelkämpfe. Bis zum vorletzten Wettkampftag konnte er bereits mit seinen Einzelsiegen über 100 m, 200 m und 400 m Freistil sowie über 200 m Lagen vier Goldmedaillen erkämpfen. Bis auf die 200 m Freistil stellte er in den anderen drei Wettbewerben neue DDR-Rekord auf.
