For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Carpin, Beregnungsanlage im Einsatz Zentralbild Bartocha 25.5.71-ch Bezirk Neubrandenburg: Zur Beregnung des Grünlandes nutzen die Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG "Djamila Beuhired" in Carpin, Kreis Neustrelitz, das Wasservorkommen auf ihrem Territorium. Stündlich werden 80.000 (80 000) Liter Wasser dem Schlesiger See entnommen und zur Beregnung der Wiesen verwendet. 15 Stunden arbeiten die Kreiselpumpen, die von einem Traktor "Utos 45" mit Zapfwellenanschluß angetrieben werden.
