Magdeburg, Städtische Gewächshäuser, Wintergarten Zentralbild DDR 24.4.70 Familienausflug in den Städtischen Gewächshäusern von Magdeburg (DDR) Die Städtischen Gewächshäuser von Magdeburg - unser Foto zeigt einen Blick in den Wintergarten mit grossen Palmen - werden von in- und ausländischen Besuchern gern durchwandert. Mit den städtischen Gewächshäusern in Magdeburg besitzt die Republik eine in der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik einmalige Pflanzenschutzanlage. Durch Zukäufe und Tausch z.B. mit Botanischen Gärten des In- und Auslandes wird die Zahl der tropischen und subtropischen Pflanzenarten ständig erhöht. Zur Zeit besitzen die Städtischen Gewächshäuser in Magdeburg 1700 (1700) Pflanzenarten.
