For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Magdeburg, Klubhaus "Ernst Thälmann" Zentralbild Ritter Kri-rr 31.5.1965 Vorbereitung VII. Arbeiterjugendkongress Magdeburg. Vom 5.6. bis 7.6. findet in Magdeburg der VII. Deutsche Arbeiterjugendkongress statt. Die Stadt wird in diesen Tagen zum Treffpunkt Tausender Jugendlicher, die hier fröhliche Pfingsttage erleben werden. Die Gäste aus Westdeutschland werden aus eigener Anschauung erleben, wie iin der DDR das Mitbestimmungsrecht der Jugend verwirklicht wurde, wofür die westdeutsche Jugend heute noch erbittert kämpfen muß. UBz: Klubhaus "Ernst Thälmann", der Begegnungsort des Arbeiterjugendkongresses.
