For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Mellahn 20.6.1961 EAW-Erzeugnisse in 28 Länder In 28 Länder exportieren die Elektroapparatewerke Berlin-Trepptow ihre hochwertigen Erzeugnisse. Neben umfangreichen Warenlieferungen an sozialistische Staaten exportiert der Betrieb seine Messgeräte des westlichen Auslands. Die EAL sind der einzige Betrieb in der DDR, der Leistungsschalter in der Abmessung 100 bis 3000 Ampere herstellt. Bezieher dieser Schalter sind u.a. Indien, die VAR und die Türkei. UBz: Kollege Rolf Wiegand vom AZN (rechts) vergleicht mit dem Expedient Fritz Wiegand die Papier mit der Auslandssendung.
