For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Osterweddingen, Abdichten einer Drainage Zentralbild Biscan 27.3.1961 Genossenschaftsbauern legen ihre Felder trocken Die Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG " Hermann Freitag" in Osterweddingen, Kreis Wanzleben, haben im Verlaufe der letzten Monate durch umfangreiche Drainagearbeiten rund 100 Hektar wertvollen Bodens trockengelegt und damit eine wichtige Voraussetzung für eine Steigerung ihrer Erträge geschaffen. UBz: Alfred Niedergesäss von der Tiefbaubrigade der LPG beim Verschmieren von Abwasserrohren.
