For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Straßenbau durch Jugendliche Zentralbild Weiß-Weiß-Noa-2.9.1958 Mit Eifer sind Mädchen und Jungen aus allen Kreisen des Bezirkes Frankfurt-Oder dabei, in der Gemeinde Genschmar im Oderbruch Kreis Seelow ein sozialistisches Jugenddorf zu errichten. Bis Anfang August hatten bereits 2 400 Jugendliche mehr als 48.000 Arbeitsstunden geleistet und Werte von rund 175.000 DM geschaffen. 14 Jugendliche wurden für die LPG des Dorfes gewonnen. UBz: Beim Bau der 4 Kilometer langen Straße von Genschmar nach Zechin. Hier werden Durchlaßrohre abgeladen.
