For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Junge Zi-Qu 13.1.56 U-Bahnhof Friedrichstrasse in neuem Glanz Der U-Bahnhof in der Friedrichstrasse, Berlin, erstrahlt nun, nach dem bereits vor einiger Zeit die Gerüste gefallen sind, in neuem Glanz. Entsprechend der Bedeutung, die dem Bahnhof in Verbindung mit dem S- und Fernbahnhof als Verkehrsknotenpunkt zukommt, wurde er jetzt würdig gestaltet. UBz. Blick auf den Bahnsteig des U-Bahnhofes Friedrichstrasse.
