For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Sachsendorf, Blick auf Wohnhäuser Zentralbild Krueger 18.8.1955 Zum 10. Jahrestag der demokratischen Bodenreform - Sachbedarf (siehe Begleittext)-1945, nach Beendigung des Krieges, gab es in ganz Sachsendorf kein Haus, in welchem nicht der Himmel durchs Dach schaute. Heute zählt das Dorf über 150 festgefügte Neubauten, jedes eine Heimstatt der Friedensliebe und neuen Daseinsfreude.
