For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Altenpleen, Kinder von LPG-Mitgliedern ZB-Pietsch-21.9.1953 Produktionsgenossenschaft "Florian Geyer" im Bezirk Rostock. Die Landwirtschaftliche Produktionsgenossenschaft "Florian Geyer" in Altenpleen bewirtschaftet eine Ackerfläche von 250 ha und zählt 30 Mitglieder. Die Genossenschaftsbauern, die ihr Getreidesoll 100 prozentig erfüllt haben, wollen zur gemeinschaftlichen Viehhaltung übergehen und bauen sich jetzt einen Schweinestall, der 350 Schweine aufnehmen kann. UBz: Wenn die Schule aus ist und die Schularbeiten gemacht sind, helfen die Kinder der Genossenschaftsbauern auf ihre Art. den Eltern. Olaf Nagel, Waldemar Schwarz (auf dem Pford) und Heinz Jendras holen vom Feld das Stroh zum Streuen im Schweine- und Kuhstall.
