For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schwielochsee, Badesee ADN-Rainer Weisflog 1.8.90 Bez. Cottbus: Seit Jahren weist das Hygieneinstitut Cottbus die örtlichen Organe auf die Bedenklichkeit des Badens im Schwielochsee hin. Durch die Einleitung ungeklärter Abwässer ist die organische Belastung des durch die Eiszeit entstandenen Sees weiter gestiegen. Es mußte zwar aus hygienischen Gründen kein Badeverbot ausgesprochen werden, a-das Baden in diesem unter Landschaftsschutz stehenden Erholungsgebiet ist bedenklich und auf eigene Gefahr. Auch diese Kinder aus einem Ferinlager dürfen laut Lagerordnung vom Herbst 1989 nicht in einem Gewässer baden, in dem die Sichtweite unter 50 cm liegt.
