For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Trostadt, Abtransport von Schadholz ADN-ZB Schaar 13.2.1987 Bez. Suhl: "Forstarbeiter auf Zeit" sind gegenwärtig zahlreiche Genossenschaftsbauern des Bezirkes Suhl. Sie unterstützen die Forstarbeiter bei der Aufbereitung von Schadholz. In den vergangenen fünf Jahren sorgten sie dafür, daß 135.000 Kubikmeter Holz von Schnee- und Windbrüchen aus den Wäldern geholt werden konnten. In der 6000 Hektar großen Oberförsterei Trostadt sind derzeit über 50 Helfer aus sechs Genossenschaften des Territioriums tätig, so auch Bauern aus der LPG Römhild. - siehe auch 1987-0213-2N -
