For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Schlepper, Winter ADN-ZB Sindermann 10.1.1987-pre - Rostock: Schneefälle erschweren Güterumschlag - Anhaltende Schneefälle und Temperaturen unter dem Gefrierpunkt erschweren in diesen Tagen die Umschlagarbeiten im Rostocker Überseehafen. Hier, wo 80 Prozent der Umschlagleistungen aller Seehafen vollbracht werden, sollen in diesem Jahr 1 450.000 Tonnen über die Kaikanten gehievt werden. An Bord des DDR-Frachters "Rhinsee" werden Reisezugwagen gebracht. Als Oberdeckladung treten sie ihre Reise nach Ghana an. siehe auch 1987-0110-1 und 3 N
