For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, DHfK, Staffel-Rekordlauf ADN-ZB Gahlbeck 10.8.85 Leipzig: Staffel-Rekord- Im Flutlicht Staffelwechsel bei einem ungewöhnlichen Wettkampf auf der "Sprintan"-Bahn der DHfK. Drei Staffeln, gebildet von Leipziger Sportstudenten, liefen 100 x 1.000 Meter in einer Weltbestzeit von 4:54:28 h. Damit unterboten sie die 1983 in dieser Disziplin von Angehörigen der Technischen Universität Lappeenranta (Finnland) in 5:29:14 h aufgestellte Leistung.
