ADN-ZB Bartocha 3.11.82 Neubrandenburg: Das Neue Tor ist eins der vier gotischen Bauwerke dieser Art, die die ehemaligen Stadtgrenzen Neubrandenburgs markieren. Den roten Backsteinbauten verdankt Neubrandenburg auch den Namen "Stadt der vier Tore". Das Neue Tor stammt aus der 2. Hälfte des 15. Jahrhunderts und wurde 1971 restauriert. Im Bezirk Neubrandenburg existieren noch 26 Tore in 13 Städten und einem Dorf. Sie stehen sämtlich unter Denkmalschutz. - siehe auch 17n - |
