For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, Zoo, Affenhaus ADN-ZB Grubitzsch 23.06.1982 schl. Leipzig: Ein neues Tierhaus für Menschenaffen wird am 23.Juni 1982 an die Zoobesucher der Messestadt übergeben. Die Tiere finden in diesem Haus optimale Bedingungen vor. Für die Besucher konnte ein neuer Erholungskomplex geschaffen werden, der Beobachtungen der Menschenaffen in angenehmer Atmosphäre ermöglicht.
