For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
VEG Melitz, Einsacken von Getreide Zentralbild Burkert Zi-Nü. 22.1.1953 Kollegen mit vorbildlicher Arbeitsauffassung auf dem Volkseingenen Gut Melitz UBz: Kollegin Wally Scheffel ist seit 1945 auf dem volkseigenen Gut Meilitz als Landarbeiterin tätig. Durch gute Arbeit erwarb sie sich das Vertrauen der Kollegen, die ihr die Futterausgabe übertrugen und sie den Speicher verwalten liessen. Durch vorbildliche Leistungen konnte sie dem Betrieb 1500.- DM einsparen. Kollegin Scheffel ist Mitglied der BGL.
