LOCATION OF AND DIRECTIONS FOR REACHING AMHERST Amherst is ninety-eight miles west of Boston and twenty-fivemiles from Springfield. It can be reached from Boston over the Bostonand Maine Railroad (Southern Division from North Station) or bythe Boston and Albany Railroad from South Terminal Station viaPalmer, thence to Amherst over the Central Vermont Railroad. It may also be reached from Springfield or Greenfield by theBoston and Maine Railroad via Northampton, or by trolley fromSpringfield via Holyoke or Northampton. From New York, take New York, New Haven and HartfordRailroad to Springfield, then to Amherst by train or trolley as alreadystated. Persons coming from Albany, Buffalo and the West would bestcome to Springfield and then to Amherst as stated above. For further information concerning the Summer Schools, writeWilliam D.
