The graceful recurving blossoms and clear yellow color of Mrs. Moon are always admired. Colorful The origin of Cottage Tulips has been lost—they are so old. But they have come to us chiefly from the humble cottage gardens of the British Isles. They are usually recognized by their long and narrow petals and their slender but strong stems. In shape of bloom they varj^. Some are egg-shaped, some vase- shaped, some lily-flowered. They have a wide range of colors, but in the orange- scarlets and the yellows they are especially outstand- ing. Some of the Cottage Tulips are fragrant. The Hybrid Tulips are crosses between the Cottage, Breeder, and Darwin Tulips. Argo F 23 in. Deep soft yellow, as though the petals were covered with a bloom. Edges daintily penciled with orange-red. 10c each; 80c per dozen; $5.50 per 100. Carrara F 25 in. Large pure white flowers on long wiry stems. Very- choice. 13c each; $1.15 perdozen;$8.00perl00. Dido F 30 in. An unusu- ally magnificent tulip. Rich orange-rose with shadings of salmon and yellow. Very desirable. 10ceach;80c per dozen; $5.25 per 100. Fairy Queen F 21 in. Rosy heliotrope, beau- tifully margined with amber. Very large flowers. 9c each; 70c per dozen;$5.00per 100. Gesneriana Ixioldes G 22 in. Beautiful egg-shaped flowers of soft canary yellow with brilliant black base. 10c each; 80c per dozen; $5.50 per 100. Gesneriana Lutea G 22 in. Rich golden yellow. Flowers of large size. 9c each; 70c per dozen; $5.00 per 100. Gesneriana Spathulata (major) F 25 in. A very large brilliant scarlet flower with rich bluish-black base. One of the most brilliant and striking of the Cottage tulips. 9c each; 70c per dozen; $5.00 per 100. Single and dozen prices include postage. The 100 rate is by express at purchaser's expense. Not less than six of any one vairety supplied at dozen rates, and not less than 25 at 100 rates. 14
