| Description |
English: On the left, built in the 19th Century, this two-story Greek Revival and Federal-style house features a side gable roof, exposed rafter ends, two-over-two double-hung windows, a front door with decorative trim and sidelights, and shows signs of having been altered in the late 19th Century or early 20th Century.
On the right, built in 1805, this Federal-style cottage was constructed by Wheat Crane, and is part of the historic 19th Century Merchant’s Row. The one-story house features a painted brick exterior, front gable roof, three-bay front facade with two windows flanking a central entry door, a small attic window above, replacement windows and doors, and a rough-hewn stone base. The houses are contributing structures in the Perryville Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973. |
