English: BUDDHA PARK - Buddha Park is located at the heart hill of Switzerland of Nepal - Jiri. Around six to eight hours of bus-ride will take you there from Kathmandu. Jiri is also referred to as the Gateway to Mount Everest. Buddha Park is one of the best tourist destinations in Jiri. It is situated at the altitude of 2410 m just 15 minutes ride from Jiri valley. One can also hike which takes 45 minutes walk to reach here. Buddha Park is reputed for its astonishing beauty, green ambiance, and its clean environment. The surrounding area is very pleasant. One can observe a good sunrise and sunset view from up here. Overall view of the entire Jiri valley along with mountain view can be seen from here. The environment of the park is very nice and it is recommended as must visit the place once you get to Jiri. |
