Description
English: Douville (Bud) Fortier photographed in front of his car in 1956.
A long time resident of Flinton, Bud and his wife Eleanor lived on the Upper Flinton Road. Bud and Eleanor had 5 children and many grandchildren. An experienced logger, he operated Fortier Logging for many years. He also served as Councillor for Kaladar, Anglesea and Effingham Township.

A gentle man, Bud was well respected in his community and active in the Catholic church in Flinton. His skills as a carpentry craftsman are well know building several items still in use in the church.
