The building was completed in 1934 by Walter Froy (unknown year of birth and death), Louis S. Weeks (1881–1971) and Edmond van Saanen Algi (1882–1938). There is no freedom of panorama in Romania. The copyright term of the country is 70 years, and the image can be undeleted in 2042

Română: Bucuresti, Romania. PALATUL TELEFOANELOR (B-II-m-B-19853) (10). Palatul Telefoanelor este o clădire reprezentativă a Bucureştiului, aflată în centrul capitalei. În prezent este sediul Telekom. Palatul, înalt de 52,5 m, a fost construit între anii 1929 - 1934 într-un stil specific zgârie-norilor americani, având caracteristici reprezentative ale stilului Art Deco. Până în anii '70 a fost cea mai înaltă clădire din Bucureşti. Construcţia a înregistrat şi o premieră, ea fiind prima clădire înaltă cu schelet metalic din România. Edmond van Saanen Algi, unul din cei trei arhitecţi semnatari, era de origine olandeză, stabilit în România.
