Description
English: Copper alloy sheet buckle plate length 20mm, width 27mm, thickness 1mm weight 2.52g. Rectangular plate with three rivet holes. Stamped ring decoration surrounds the holes, further stamped decoration consists of four lines of small triangle on the forwarded and rear edge and two lines on either side. The forward edge has two folded tabs that would hold the buckle, both are truncated. Iron corrosion in the centre of the tabs where the pin would have sat.
