Buckle plate
Description
English: A copper-alloy folded sheet buckle plate most likely to be late medieval or post medieval in date. This plate is roughly rectangular in shape, measuring 34mm in length and 18mm in width, with a tapering terminal end with a central rivet through it with a large circular head. The attachment end has a central rectangular pin slot but is not recessed to accomodate the missing frame.
